Ingredients matter
The quality of ingredients in a product is typically the first thing people look at when deciding to purchase wellness products. This is important, but it isn’t everything. Proper business practices, fair wages, safe working conditions, and environmental safety are just some of the factors that make a product truly sustainable and ethical. Many herbs that grow in abundance in tropical climates like Indonesia, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Jamaica are harvested without any of these safeguards in place. It is absolutely essential that we know how our ingredients are being grown, harvested, prepared, and the conditions of the people doing this arduous work. With one of my favorite quotes being “Do no harm”, this is absolutely nonnegotiable for Taste of the Divine.
Make it
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.

There are a couple reasons why an herbal remedy wouldn’t have the effects that you desire. The most common mistake is potency, or not using enough herbs. Another reason why herbs might not work for you is if you’re taking the wrong ones for you. Some herbs work better than others for different people, so you might need to switch the herbs you’re trying.

Quality, sustainability, and respect are huge values at Taste of the Divine. We wild-harvest certain herbs that grow here in Arizona where our home base is, and we also source a lot of other herbs from companies like Mountain Rose Herbs and Starwest Botanicals.

In regards to medicinal value, the rule of thumb is three days in the refrigerator for highest potency. After that, the medicinal value of the tea starts to drop drastically, and it may not be as effective or tasty. After a week, it’s best to use that tea to water some plants or use in your compost.
